Our Secret Dreams

Aiysha is a seventeen-year-old girl, she drives, she dreams of her future, she loves her parents, her best friend and even her annoying little sister, Fatima. She has a crush on Darien but she doesn’t know if he like her back. Aiysha feels like you average American teen except for two small details: her parents have only on really strict hang up, dating. Right now, Aiysha has gone beyond sweet sixteen and never been dating (although she did hold hands with a boy her best friend, Cassandra set her up with a year ago, but she didn’t really like him, besides his hands were scratchy). Her parents keep suggesting that once she finishes her education, they’ll match make her with one of their friends’ sons but that’s the last thing she wants. Aiysha wants to fall in love.
