Ordeal On Elkhorn Peak

Duane Applegate and Alex Stapleton are life-long friends, who, during their annual elk-hunting trip into the rugged Colorado Rockies, find themselves being stalked by a misguided, deranged, local resident. After Duane is forced to take the man's life in self defense, the dead man's brother, an escaped convict with a penchant for excessive violence, vows revenge and goes after Duane and Alex.

It is then that this true-to-life tale becomes one of hardship and survival that includes not only the ingenuity essential to remaining alive and ahead of the crazed stalker, but also the self demands fundamental to withstanding the rigors and adversities encountered as a result of the ever-changing weather conditions of a typical winter in the high reaches of the Rocky Mountains.

With Duane and Alex both having been seriously wounded, and with their meager supplies running dangerously low, their chances of survival are seriously hampered. It is then that their will to survive is thoroughly tested while they struggle through what has now turned into a desperate trek across the snow-covered reaches of lofty Elkhorn Peak.
