When police officer Sam Cooper spots the beautiful blonde in the red convertible, his first reaction is to toss her in the slammer. His next -- after discovering that she isn't the lookalike robbery suspect he's chasing -- is to ask her out. But feisty Teri Franklin isn't about to forgive Sam for arresting her. In fact, she never wants to lay eyes on him again!

Why does Sam seem to pop up every time Teri turns around? Either she's under police surveillance, or the man can't take no for an answer. Teri refuses to fall for a cop -- even one with big brown eyes and impossibly broad shoulders. Sooner or later, she figures, he'll get the hint.
