About This Book
Henri Argen, international terrorist and gun-runner, was hiding out in South America when he was accidentally discovered by the American DEA. Killing the drug enforcement officers, Henri decided it was time to travel back to Europe. Jack Travers, ex-SBS officer and now with MI6, in the meantime is despatched to Iraq to assess Saddam Hussein's reasons for massive troop movements. He discovers it is Saddam's intention to invade the small kingdom of Kuwait. The American CIA, together with the French secret service and agents from MI6, plan together to entrap Henri Argen once and for all. Jack Travers though is kept out of the plot in order that he is free to return to Kuwait, after Saddam's invasion, to set in place a resistance network ready for the eventual recovery of Kuwait by the US and UK forces. Henri redevelops his close relationship with IRA chiefs and is soon instrumental in their audacious plot to blow up the British Prime Minister at No. 10 Downing Street. Jack's wife, Julia Travers, accidentally comes across the scheme while on a day trip to London and is put in immediate danger. Set in South America, the middle east and Europe, the story deals with the murky underworld of gun-runners, terrorists and secret service agents.
