Operation II Duce

In 1943 the one-eyed Lieutenant Crooke, VC, led his hand-picked suicide squad, the Destroyers, on a deadly mission. Their task was to penetrate the mountain fortress of Monte Corno, where the deposed Italian dictator, Benito Mussolini, was held prisoner, and plant evidence that would incriminate Admiral Canaris, head of the Nazi secret service, in a plot with the Allies. To succeed, the Destroyers had to carve a bloody path through the ruthless SS commandos of Captain Otto Skorzeny who were mounting a daring rescue attempt.
