Throughout the galaxy, the word human is synonymous with death, fear and destruction. Rumoured to be extinct, there has not been a human spotted in the civilized universe for over sixty thousand years. They are now only remembered in the scariest bedtime tales. Little do the great civilizations of the universe know, that on a little planet called earth lurks seven billion of what was once known as the scariest of all races. Eleven year old Marc Marquette loves to stare up at the moon on his parent's double wide in the dark of the Louisiana night. His brother, Tomas tries to make life easier for him, but it's not always easy with two parents dealing with their own personal demons. Marc's goal in life is to one day go to the moon, but fate will send him and his brother much farther than the moon. Abducted, Tomas, Marc and a group of teens find themselves on the barbaric planet of Katania. The kids; trained, conditioned and supplemented are turned into what the universe fears most: Human.
