Only the Lonely

After her fiancé jilted her, Zena Winters felt the need to get away; and applied to South City General Hospital in Melbourne for a job in Obstetrics and Gynecology. It was bad luck that the orthopedic surgeon, Mr. Gavin Lynch, had been bullying the nursing director for more staff, for, despite her lack of experience in that speciality, Zena found herself working on Mr. Lynch's ward. Soon she realized that he was as hard on himself as on his staff, and her willingness to learn gained his approval. But when their relationship spilled over into off-duty hours, Zena discovered his personal problems were not going to be easily solved. Was this another dead end?
