Sophie Dumbrowski has only gone out with three guys in her sixteen years--a moron, a liar, and a perv. Busia, her Polish grandma, offers to make a bargain with Dola, the Polish spirit of love, in exchange for Sophie's agreement to get along with her man-hungry mother, who owns a bakery.

When the International Gourmet moves into their strip mall, the bakery business begins to tank. Sophie can't sit by and watch her future burn to a crisp.
