He was all man: hard, unyielding, overpowering in his masculinity. As a professional athlete, Vincent DeMille had been called a master of two games: basketball and women. When Loie Brannigan met Vincent on the campus of Crofton College, she was unaware of his fame. She only knew that he was a giant of a man with a rich baritone voice, sexy and rich as raw silk. Loie couldn't help but notice his long, muscular legs and winning sense of humor. But Loie was a teacher working toward a full-time faculty position at this conservative New England college.
