About This Book

When Sam Maze's family is killed by terrorists on 9-11, the one thing he continuously thinks about is revenge. In Sam's mind, the only way he can achieve this is by enlisting in the military and making sure he is sent to where the fighting is. His first day in combat he's badly wounded. Because of this, his body and mind go through severe changes which he uses to his advantage in fighting the enemy. Once his enlistment is up, he joins the New York City Police Department. The abilities he acquired in the army become a big asset to him on the force. Once on the force, he does his best to hide his military past because he doesn't want to be treated any differently than the rest of the officers. Having the enhanced abilities is something Sam has grown used to and he knows it will help him in ways he doesn't expect.
