She decided that she would not be an ordinary governess. She would charge a great deal of money for her services. A woman with her background could afford to do that.

Olivia thought she was doing well with Lady Synge--teaching her children about anatomy and babies and such. But Philmot, Lady Synge's arrogant younger brother, was outraged. And told Olivia exactly what he thought of her.

They had so much in common--Olivia and Philmot --their hearty dislike of each other....
