Gabrielle Robinson is a senior partner of one of Manhattan's top prestigious law firms and an owner of a beautiful Bronxville suburban home. Add to that a vacation spot in the Virgin Islands and Gabrielle has the perfect life ... until it becomes soiled when she catches her husband in bed with another woman. With her eight-year marriage about to end in divorce, Gabrielle heads off on a business trip merely to clear her head and prepare herself for the process of ending her marriage. There, she meets the chocolate-skinned, good-looking Miles. He helps mend her broken heart and smothers her burning desire for love.
