Landing a fabulous part in a TV mini-series was just the thing Faythe McBain needed to jump-start her career after twenty years. Not that she hadn't kept in practice: she deserved an Academy Award for acting the loving wife while her high-powered Hollywood agent husband cheated on her with every starlet in town. -- Now newly divorced and getting grief from her grown daughter, who thought that her parents had the perfect marriage, Faythe is filled with hope and anxiety.
