Nowhere to Run

Karen Freemont is bored with her life. As a middle-aged accounting manager, she has no opportunity for promotion. With an abusive husband, her home life is worse. She's tired of the routine, tired of the abuse. Turning to the Internet, Karen begins chatting with a friend who provides refreshment from her daily routine. But suddenly she realizes this new friend has plunged her into a nightmare of lies and obsession. Trying to restore order to her life, she attempts to end the chat sessions, but unexplained accidents and rearranged objects in her home are signs that her stalker has not given up. As she is chased by a man deranged with infatuation, she must also deal with her husband's growing suspicion and boiling violent temper. Karen must find the courage and strength to transform her life, to fight her way out. But this fight could cost one middle-aged accounting manager her life.
