Sameh Smith looked like an angel, but something about her bothered hard-bitten investigator Adam Hawkins. Hired to check into her past by a vindictive and jealous woman, he found she didn't seem to have one! Still, nothing about the endearingly clumsy Sameh seemed dangerous except her effect on his heart.

That shouldn't have been a problem. After all, Hawk was all but immune to beautiful women; he had worked for some of Hollywood's most glamorous stars.
