When Arctic storms prevent her friend from flying south for Christmas, Luui Angakkuarneq, the shaman's daughter, strikes a deal with Northwind to secure safe passage for the pilot, Aunix Cobick. But tricky winds can't be trusted, and Luui knows she won't succeed without a little help.

Northwind is a fantastical story inspired by Greenland myths and legends woven into a Christmas adventure story set in the near future.

Following on from the previous year's advent calendar, Yule at Aurora Station, Northwind continues the adventures of Luui Angakkuarneq, the precocious five-year-old from the Greenland Missing Persons series, now grown up, as she tries to get her friend home safely in time for Christmas.
