No Time for Tears

No Time for Tears is the story of Anna and is set in down-east Maine. No child should be without a mother growing up, but Anna was to lose her mother at the young age of three. This story is told from the mind and heart of a three-year-old child and continues on as she grows up. Although Anna went through a great many hardships and trials, along with the rest of the family, she never lost her spirit or her spunk. This made all the difference to the whole family as they endured the cold and hungry times with less than suitable or adequate clothing with an often angry and many times abusive father. This is a story that everyone should read as it clearly shows that there is ALWAYS someone worse off than yourself and even at the darkest of times, light will always follow.
