No Teacher Left Standing

Sarah Morgan hates conflict. She never understood her parents constant sniping at each other and she always felt like she had to protect her little sister. Avoiding fights has served her well over the years, especially as a first grade teacher. However, now she must defend herself against a duplicitous principal, a Machiavellian superintendent, and a libelous, vitriolic attack from a mean-spirited and crazy parent. To further complicate matters, after two miscarriages, Sarah is pregnant again and her husband is working out of town. Now she must become what she has always avoided, a fighter. Sarah represents the best in all of us. She is a strong woman who shows grace, courage, humor and understanding as a first grade teacher under duress. Confronted with educational policy dictated by ivy-tower administrators and politicians, some of her colleagues buckle under the psychological strain; however, Sarah never gives up.
