Wealth was a mixed blessing for lovely young Jane Saunders. Her family fortune helped her become an expert horsewoman and raise champion steeds. But it also made her suspect the motives of the many men who sought her hand.

Jane had to find out what she was worth without the wrappings of riches. Under an assumed name, she took a humble job as an exercise girl at a struggling horse farm, and learned the pleasures and pains of proving herself by simple hard work.
