An accident to her logging-boss father prompted a call to Wyn at finishing school to take charge of his lumber camp. There, tough strength meant more than fragile girlish graces, and Wyn reverted to the stubborn tomboy who ad eaten, slept, and breathed lumbering all her life.

But the loggers were reluctant to work for a woman boss until Wyn awed them with her experience and spunk. Even Nat Cantrell, form whom Wyn's father had leased his land, was cowed by her, but he was determined to face her as one logger to another no matter what sparks flew. However, when Nat and Wyn faced each other as man and woman, the flame of love glowed. But Nat "belonged" to another woman -- one whose feminine charms overwhelmed him and Wyn wasn't sure she could compete!
