Katherine Theodopolis was going to have to dispense with her "lady-of-the-manor" routine. It seemed irrelevant after being rescued by a handsome pirate in the South Pacific.

At least Blackie Lowell had all the earmarks of a pirate to Kate and her five young charges. Before long the boys were worshiping their new idol, and Kate was reluctantly falling under his spell.
