Night of the Long Knives

The Cult of Tchernobog is all-but destroyed from within; Khymir stands on the brink of momentous reform. Before a cheering multitude, Zancharthus dedicates himself and his infant son Zorachus to the struggle for freedom and justice.

But the time is ripe for Hell's reprisal, and as the city holds its breath, dead enemies are resurrected, towering islands shrink from existence, and the Devil's Rake plucks galleys from the sea; treason washes the streets in blood. As Zancharthus fights for his people deep beneath the earth, Torrisanna, Jagutai and Lilitu struggle to stave off an army of wizards and assassins. One by one, the scores are settled. No good deed goes unpunished....
