Night of Stars

Death hangs over the beginning of the story, when Candice travels from England to the north of India to visit the grave of a murdered family member. But when she stands in front of the grave in the middle of the night and in the middle of nowhere, she realizes that she has thrown herself into a dangerous situation. Against all odds, she has to let herself be saved by an arrogant young man with little respect for other people's privacy. And so Candice happens to be given the key to travel back to a time when people lived more intensely – the key to her family's past... and to her own future.
