New Year's Eve Murder Mystery

Miss Tayke, Cedric and Bunty travel to the highlands of Scotland to celebrate the New Year at her cousin's hotel. On arrival they are greeted with the news that two villagers had been murdered by poisoning a few days earlier. Miss Tayke steadfastly refuses to become involved in the police investigation but at dinner in the hotel on New Year's Eve one of the guests is similarly slain. Minutes before the tragedy occurred Miss Tayke had observed something that alarmed her and determines to follow it up the following morning. She dispatches Cedric and Bunty on separate assignments and their findings confirm her suspicions; she lays a trap for the killer and, using her uncanny skills as an eminent private investigator, snares him in his den…
