New World Rising

In this 15,000 word standalone prequel to the Culture Wars series, the year is 2228, ten years before WRITTEN IN THE STARS. Two cops, Blake and Alex in Topeka, Kansas, witness the rise of the Moral League in elections and the corruption of their jobs by a political agenda both dark and cruel. For what the League seeks to do in Kansas is the same thing they did in San Francisco - wipe gay people and culture off the map. Alex and Blake must choose whether to take a stand and how, while at the same time dealing with their feelings for one another. Will they manage to take a stand in the new world rising before them or will they be forced to submit to the new regime?
