New King

I am Dantak, the High Prince of the Vampire Collective I will soon become the new king. The Collective High Council intends to make peace with the humans who started a war against us. The plan is for my brothers and me to mate and bond with human females from nearby villages. I hate humans and have no desire to do this willingly. Before I can take my father's place on the throne, I must choose my queen. My mother has opted to choose me since I am not willing to get to know any of the five humans brought to live among us. My mother favors Kira of New Hope. I have made my objections to this union clear. Our focus should not be on the humans, but on the Reds, a violent group of vampires set to steal the kingdom and rule us all. The Reds are getting bolder with each new day. The only way to stop them is to learn their plan before they come to claim the city.
