Joe Hollerthwaite is less than pleased to see his new next door neighbour moving in with a basket of trouble; CATS! Joe owns two German Shepherd dogs and knows that having cats living in such close vicinity spells nothing but ill. Angela Appleton dotes on her two newly acquired kittens. How they will fare beside next door's large canines she can only speculate and not with optimism. The fears of both prove justified when their uneasy truce is broken upon the animals finally meeting face to face.... But worse is to come.
