Mail-order bride Bonnie Sullivan has so many other things on her besides marrying Lucas Goodwin. She vows that no man will ever quash her spirit or control her, although in 1878 it's a wife's duty to cook and clean and raise a family.


What she didn't count on when she married the once-outlaw Lucas was how complicated life could be, not only for her but the entire town of Yerington, Nevada.


Lucas Bart and his brothers roam the Nevada trails robbing stagecoaches. That is until they change their last name and forgo their lives as outlaws in favor of settling down and raising a family.
