Well educated, musically gifted and charismatic, Anthony Peterson was a model student, a great catch and the perfect son, the problem was, he knew it. One fateful night celebrating his results in his local he comes across Floyd, bartender, local musician and somewhat reluctant lady's man who introduces him to the exciting world of live music.
Agreeing to form an indie band of their own, the two quickly become inseparable as The Narcissists gain popularity but chaos and disaster ensue when Anthony, ever the hedonist becomes seduced by the glamour of the music business, the drugs on offer and the abundance of casual sex. Can Floyd keep his best friend; band mate and sometimes lover grounded long enough for them to enjoy the perks of being a rock star?
