Lilly, called Lilly Bug by her Mom and Dad, is stuck in the middle of three sisters. Her older sister loves to read. Her younger sister loves musical books.
As the middle sister, Lilly sometimes has a hard time asserting her own identity. She also has a hard time dealing with her fear of storms which happen a lot in the spring.
One afternoon Lilly learns about a smart, brave, and pretty girl detective. That gives her a great idea.
The next night, a very dark and stormy night, Lilly is faced with a mystery that forces her to also face her fear of storms.
