My Endeavor

This is the memoir of a marooned starship captain. He tells the gut wrenching tale of his experiences and his endeavor to transcend them. After his home world, "the Earth" is ravaged by disaster, Jason Perkasie accepts the captaincy of the scout starship Falconer 121. He and his crew are asked to go on a ground breaking research mission. Ejected thousands of light years from home, what they discover is amazing but also troubling. This short story is an introduction to a new series by this author, scheduled to begin release in fall, 2011. The series will explore this new world, the human ability to conquer and the heart's capability for compassion. Be forewarned that this series is gripping but not for the feint of heart.
