My Darling, Janice

Janice found a reference to a grandaunt she never knew existed in one of her grandfather's journals, as they share the same name she is determined to learn more. When she doesn't get the answers she wants from her grandfather she decides to travel to the country of his birth to discover the truth about a woman her grandfather wrote about but never mentioned.

Martin knows his granddaughter won't rest until she has all the answers about her grandaunt that he finds too painful to talk about. So when she packs up to learn his secrets firsthand, he sends all his journals along with her. His granddaughter is so much like his sister, Janice. It hurts to see her leave even if he knows that letting her go is the best thing he could do.
