Jacob Daniels was leading a normal life until the day he received the call. The person on the other end would not explain things until they could meet face to face and it was all but impossible to resist the intrigue. Maybe he should have tried harder. The government was using a new tool to modify history here by using technologies taken from other times and other universes.
