Cold Heart, Nevada, had a population of ten, but for Carolyn Andrews only one of them counted. Jonathan Raider was her sole hope of finding the phantom Thoroughbred that had been spotted running with the wild horses. And if she didn't find that stallion, her father might pay with his life.

Jonathan wasn't interested. Even if the horse was really out there, Carolyn's chances of finding it were slim.
