Murder Keeps a Secret

Historian David Rowan is riding high. He's a Pulitzer Prize winner, a speech writer for a leading Presidential candidate, the lover of a glamorous TV anchorwoman, the biographer of a great Supreme Court justice.

So it's big news when someone pitches David Rowan through his midtown Manhattan office window. Rowan's godfather, retired attorney Reuben Frost, eagerly joins in the hunt for his killer. Working with his NYPD pal, Luis Bautista, he quickly discovers that half a dozen powerful Eastern Establishment figures have strong motives for a crime that is making the police department very nervous indeed. Among them are Rowan's ex-wife, his mistress, his patroness, and his publisher, and, possibly, a future President of the United States....
