About This Book

When television director, Bel Carson views images of the mutliated body of a prostitute, she has the disturbing impression she might know the victim. But before she can follow up on this hunch, Bel narrowly escapes death in an explosion that kills a colleague. The police think the bombing is politically motivated, but Bel is given imformation that suggests a darker, more personal motive. Then the only person who might be able to provide the answers is also murdered.
In the midst of this mayhem, Bel has problems of her own. Her sister, Rosa, has disappeared. She has a long history of anorexia and mental illness, so Bel is frantic with worry. But her investigations only raise more questions. Who is the mysterious dark-haired man from Rosa's past who had suddenly reappeared? And why have enormous sums of money been paid into Rosa's bank account?
As she tries to find the answers, Bel finds herself drawn into the underworld of hard porn, where people totally without scruples are prepared to eliminate anyone who becomes a threat to their activities.
