A modern day English archer is approached by a mysterious Arab who claims to live in a parallel world in Spain that is five hundred years behind his own. He is invited to take part in an archery tournament where losing can bring about the downfall of a civilised world and the future freedom of a beautiful woman at the hands of an evil sorcerer. He will also have to go against all the values he holds dear in a land where killing is almost as normal as breathing and the price of life is survival of the fittest.
