About This Book

Every year, when the moon is in the eucalyptus trees, all the tigers in the country come together to dance. They make a giant circle, holding the tail of the tiger in front, and they dance in the light of the eucalyptus moon. But unfortunately for Teeho, he is too young to danceâ€"it would be against the rules. Teeho stomps off, and runs into a friend who reminds him that he could do his own dance, and no one could say there was a rule against it. So Teeho practices and practices, and when the time comes, he begins: One step forward, one step back, a turn to the side and a flick of the tail. It looks so much fun that the older tigers are impressed and they join in. Teeho has earned his place in the Moondance.
