Where is the Schuyler Mine? Mix Tape, a sophomore at Schuyler High School tried to find it. His friends didn't help Now that school has started, he tries for new ways to explore the town. Dina was in a car accident on her birthday that sent her to the hospital with a broken back. It wasn't the way she wanted to start the sixth grade. Orville is Mix Tape's best friend. Unlike Mix Tape, he hates his nickname, Popcorn. He is tired of people that make fun of him. At least he has the latest and best videogames, movies and television of 1986. What else could he want? What would make him interesting to all those that mock him? There is a lot of interest in this mine, but who will find it first? This is part one of a trilogy of stories about Mix Tape, a high school in 1986, greed, envy and high school life.
