Henri Argen, terrorist and gun-runner, has joined forces with a small cadre of ETA fanatics in Northern Spain. They are hatching a plan that, if carried out, will shake the houses of European governments to their very foundations, In the UK, Jack Travers, ex-SBS and MI6 agent is enjoying a life of quiet tranquillity with his wife and daughter when tragedy of unprecedented scale strikes. Alan Whitby, Jack’s old boss at MI6, persuades the former agent to re-enlist with a view to stopping Argen’s plans in their tracks. To aid him in this mission, Jack once again teams up with his French Sûreté colleague, Pierre Rahua.
