THROUGH THE BADLANDS THE WAGON ROLLED....

When a fellow lawman falls ill, Sam Burrack-better known as the Ranger-agrees to take the reins of the infamous jail wagon known as the Misery Express. Driving straight across Arizona territory, the Ranger must keep tabs on a motley group of fugitives, including the younger brother of JC McLawry--the leader of the dreaded Blue Star Tattoo Gang.

McLawry's gang will stop at nothing to free one of their own. And riding among them is a legendary quick-draw artist whose isolated existence in the desert has affected his mind--but not his trigger finger... .
