Midwinter Kisses

Katie Adams came into Calico Harbor's famous boardwalk to open up her new candle shop, Sweet Scents. Her first day setting up introduces her to the beach's winds. Her shop is near the end of the boardwalk where she has to carry a load of supplies to the end of the boardwalk fighting the wind. At the halfway point a door opens and it's to a new coffee shop called The Morning Shop. There she meets Sam, whom she learns is the owner. Katie is instantly smitten by him and his smile. She does not want love in her life at the moment. Her last relationship left her with a broken heart. She would not jump into that again.  As she gets to know him, they form a bond until a past love of his comes back to haunt them. Navigating the winds of Calico Harbor is one thing but navigating the waves of a relationship is far more challenging. Katie and Sam have to find a way to combat those winds and figure out what is in store for them.
