They don't believe in Santa. The girls hanging out at the Xanadu Mall are too young, their jeans too tight, their eyes too old. Now the too-fast life of one of these poor little rich kids has been nearly snuffed out by a hit-and-run driver. Murdock's job is to find out who did it and why.

Sniffing for clues among the "mall rats," Murdock discovers Cindy Duke, another California teen princess with a king-size problem: a missing father and a mansion complete with swimming pool, sexy mama, and seamy secrets. It's Christmas, and Murdock is invited to enter the parties and passions of Orange County's moneyed elite -- where he's suddenly all wrapped up for the holiday...in sex, sin, and murder.
