When Merry Christmas Doe runs into the neighborhood Scrooge in the midst of Christmas shopping, she just wants to share the Christmas spirit and say, Hi! Geoffrey Winston Hanover III would happily ignore her, but when his Mercedes breaks down and her battered VW Bug, Mehetable, is the only transportation available, he doesn't have any choice but to accept her offer of a ride.
