Mermaids and Werewolves in Miami

Chia'Na "Chia" Gorek, a young woman from the underwater Kingdom of technologically advanced Proto-Humans known as the Sea People ( Homo Sapiens Aquaticus ) flees from persecution when her uncle Lord Amon takes over and imprisons her father Lord Amok. Emerging in Miami, Florida, this young Mermaid must adapt to a dangerous new world. Chia's only ally is Simon Augustin, a young Haitian-American college student and lifeguard with secrets of his own. Simon is a werewolf, much to Chia's delight. Chia and Simon bond over their shared secrets, but they must evade hostile humans hell-bent on their destruction.
