Mephistopheles

When we got back from Brazil we found Luke Mephistopheles, the attorney who'd defended Uncle Timothy and Angus O'Day in their murder trial in Boston, was busy tryin to track them and the gang they belonged to down. The whole bunch had been missin for almost 6 months and Luke was determined to find them. Timothy had told him during the trial he knew a family secret Sam would give up the fortunes we'd found to keep the world from findin out about. He made a huge mistake when he went to Hammer, the guy Eddie McGrath had put in charge of the Irish Mob, when he was tryin to try and find out what had happened to Eddie. Eddie had been with Timothy and Angus when they disappeared. Once Hammer knew what Luke was tryin to do he got on the trail of Eddie too. Luke had talked Black O'Day, Angus's son inta joinin him in the hunt. Hammer brought 2 of his mob along with him. They all wound up in Santa Fe, each determined to be the first to find those they was lookin for. It was only when they got to the hideout the gang had been usin they discovered they was both after the same thing at the same time. That discovery brought about the most shockin thing we'd ever seen. Sam had made us invisible and we was there watchin the whole thing.
