Menace in the Fog

When Janis Long, a talented young artist, temporarily moved into Winter House on the Oregon coast, she expected the place to look spooky. In fact, she had gone there to soak up the atmosphere and draw some scary pictures for a children's mystery book. But Janis never anticipated that the old house would actually be full of terror for her. She did not expect to find a cassette tape warning her to go away. She did not know someone would try to push her down the stairs or destroy her work. And she was not prepared to face the grim knowledge that her very life might be in danger here. But the most frightening thing of all was the possibility that handsome, likable Tim Roark, the wealthy architect who lived near Winter House, was the one who wanted to destroy her!
