THE LURE OF THE PAST...

Though she'd been brought back by duty and responsibility, Kim Revis was planning to enjoy her visit to her childhood home.

She'd promised herself that her job, designing a security system to put a stop to the recent rash of thefts at the local museum, would leave her plenty of time to renew old acquaintances in the reconstructed gold-rush town.

But Kim's grandmother's handsome lawyer, Mark Stockton, had made promises of his own. His presence kept luring her away from the deceptive pleasures of the past and warning her of the dangers of the present.
