Following her beloved cousin Elspeth's death in a skiing accident, Moira's parents talked her into taking a vacation at the Mediterranean castello where Elspeth had made reservations for a modeling assignment. The castello's owner, Carlo, had been Elspeth's fiance, and afraid to arouse painful memories, Moira decided not reveal their kinship to the handsome conte.
