Payton Garner's big brother Flex means the world to her, and when he decides to move from San Jose to Atlanta after a bad break-up with his lover, her entire family is upset. The only consolation is the news that he's found a new man, fellow firefighter Lincoln Carver. Flex hasn't exactly been truthful - Lincoln, who is straight, knows nothing about it. Fate brings Peyton and Lincoln together under unusual circumstances, and sparks begin to fly.
